RoadTrip — UMich to UCD

Moving from Ann Arbor (Michigan) to become faculty at UCDavis (Californai) in 1947, we traveled along the main highways. Here is our lunch stop in South Dakota with Betty, Tom, Kathy (inside car), and the 1936 Ford hauling a trailer loaded with all our belongings. We even brought a high chair (strapped on the outside of the trailer) to use for Kathy when we stopped to eat along the road. Some nights we camped.
