Rabbits Want It Shorter

After sheep were excluded from this newly established reserve, the growth of grass became so lush that it was about to crowd out the last few remaining rabbits. Even though the introduced herbaceous vegetation is highly palatable and nutritious to rabbits, they cannot survive in tall wet grass. Rabbits are adapted to live on nearly bare ground.
